This is a delayed post coz work + renovation = nightmare + pimples. Very naise.
Anyway. Hacking commenced last Thursday and by Tuesday, the debris were cleared.

On Wednesday, Aron's installation team came by to install the aircon piping. Very neat work and very professional. Prior to installation, Aron came by to advise me on how his team would run the piping. Very nice of him to squeeze me in his tight schedule (means his business damn good larh!). So far so good. Will comment when the aircon system is up.

Trunking where the compressor will be. Gonna paint it else management will scream. |
Tiles from Hafary are in. I bought the Italian tiles coz there is a difference if you put PRC tiles beside European tiles. I chose one colour (sugar rett) for the entire house, just different sizes - 59.7.7x59.7 for living and kitchen, and 29.7x59.7 for toilet and yard. ID wanted to use a different colour to highlight one wall at the shower area but I don't want. No specific reasons, just don't like the idea.

Sugar Rett. Sweet. |
Electrical works have began. Like many who are quite troubled over openet exposed trunking, I'm just as bothered. Decide to have it concealed. Such cost just need to spend one time larh. No point saving. I can't quite decide on the location of the electrical points on the ceiling. No cove or false ceiling other than toilet and kitchen. Why no false ceiling? Coz I like the present high ceiling. I don't intend to have a ceiling/hanging light in the bedroom coz I prefer the ceiling to remain 'clean'.

The electrician wanted to purchase the electrical casing (if that's what it's called) for me but nay, I rather go to CCM and buy them. The joy of shopping isn't it? Went to the one at Bendemeer and Ah Pao attended to me. Friendly chap. But I don't know how many I should buy so I'm waiting for my ID to tell me. Most likely this weekend will make my purchase.
Okay, tiling work begins tomorrow! More on it when I have pics!
