Don't Take it Light-ly

Reviews:

1) Eurostar Lighting

I was particularly impressed with Vanessa of Eurostar Lighting. She was really patient in explaining to me the differences between LED and PLC and what suits my needs. As I'm not intending to install any ceiling/pendant light in my room, I need a floor lamp to provide ambient and accent light. Vanessa flipped through her catalogs and showed me one which I like! It's gonna arrive early Jan which is in time for my new place!

2) Lighting Centre

The sales assistants in Lighting Centre (not the one above Macs) left an impression too - they were awfully rude. They give you the "if you aren't buying, don't ask" look. I walked out and vowed never to go back.

3) Philips (Lighting.com)

The sales associates in Philips (Balestier and New World branches) were friendly and offered good advice. Jess attended to me and I'm gonna buy from her.

4) Chan Huat

There are three(!) in Balestier. Too many downlights there and it's way too messy (and crowded) for my liking. I don't even know where to start. Well, I bought a 2ft light ($45) for my yard though. I will be returning to Eurostar to get LED downlight for my kitchen and toilet and floor lamp for bedroom. Also going to Philips to get LED light for foyer and hanging light for Breakkie counter.
