EZ Living Clothesline Specialist

Met up with Angeline from EZ Living for a quotation. Was deciding between TAME, EZ Living and Home Niche but finally decided to install the EZ Lift from EZ Living. Had wanted to get the EZ lift two years ago for my previous apartment but was told by a staff that it cannot be installed on false ceiling. Angeline, the director(!), came to my apartment today to give me a quotation for my current apartment. She said that their systems can be installed on false ceiling! Boy, I could have gotten that two years back instead of using the folding type from Ikea! She told me that her company is installing the clothes system for the entire project in The Gale!

Reasons for choosing EZ Living:

1) IMHO Better system - coz it's a pulley system with a chain instead of rope (Tame and Home Niche are the rope type).

2) Efficient service provided by Angeline! Very professional.

3) Very competitive price compared to quotation given by Home Niche and Tame.

ID Firm Selection

Finally gotten down to create this t-blog after 2 years! Had wanted to create one when I bought my first bachelor's pad in June 2009 to chart the renovation process but I was just too busy to get down to doing it. Sold that in July 2011 (of coz make profit larh!) and on 3 November 2011, I collected the key to my second apartment! Based on last caveat lodged, *phew* I bought it low.

Went shopping for ID firms and shortlisted 4:

1) 3-D Innovation

Friendly and very customer oriented ID but heard horror stories of this firm. No go.

2) three-d-conceptwerke My best friend engaged three-d-conceptwerke. Rather pricey given the minimal work done, but good renovation work. My best friend and his wife were pleased with it and that's the most important. Whatever that rocks their boat! Met up with one of the IDs. Not sure if the design is practical (even when I told him I have TWO dogs) but definitely not my "style".

3) Sky Creation

Had my first apartment renovated by the firm. Some issues here and there but all resolved by my ID, Alice, and Sky. After 2 years, the kitchen cabinets are still in excellent condition(well, I hardly cook probably) so when I sold my apartment in June this year, the new owners bought it coz of the excellent move-in condition.

4) Orange Cube

Friendly ID who communicated well but towards the end of the sales pitch, I was told I need to place a deposit of $1k for appointment etc which didn't quite go well with me.

So, after much deliberation, I finally decided to engage my former ID, Alice, of Sky Creation. Still in the process of working out the details coz I can't make up my mind. The more design magazines I browse, the more things I want to change.
